file type and others questions - lenamtl - 08-27-2012

Before installing I'm wondering...

Are all file type are allowed upload/download?
Is this possible to upload zip file?
When saved is the file is encrypt or zipped or it's keeping a copy of the exact file format without any transformation?
Is there any cleanning prunning tool?

Thanks

Yes. LetoDMS doesn't care about the content. It's just a bunch of bytes with a mimetype.

Sure.

The file is save as is. It isn't modified at all. You can even find
it on the disk once you understand the layout of the content directory.

There is no need for it. Is there a specific scenario you are thinking of?

I had this 'prunning' needs in the past with similar application:
The scenario:
Let say I have 20 versions of a big file and I don't need the firsts versions made in a specific range of time this allows the user to delete the files to save disk space.

I will perform an installion today and see how it's works Smile

Thanks

There are no restrictions on file types and the file itself isn't touched.
You can even find it on the disk.

What would a cleaning prunning tool possibly do?
