E-Mail Notification of Download or Viewing - InspectorDan - 04-29-2010

Do any of the versions do a notification for downloading or viewing. I have tested my version and it does not appear to do that.

yes you are right in the larger system it could be a lot of e-mails. I was assuming however it would be handled like the other notifications and be able to be turned on and off between different files. I would think even the larger system you would have some files that may be highly sensitive or contain business critical information that would be nice to keep track of how they're being accessed. This is a very nice little system, so I hate to see it get too complicated. Maybe an alternative for a larger system would be to have a log file that shows either for the whole system or for the individual file.

Maybe this should be moved to a feature request. You've got me thinking. I'm going to make a post in the feature requests for tracking.

I think that logging is easier to implement. Later than you can just filter whatever you want.
