Better revision information - landersohn - 11-01-2013 I am using leto to run a product development project and maintain documents. Most companies I have worked in use some prototype release state during development and a final production release state. Typically, prototype releases are either denoted by "x1", "x2", .... or only numerals whereas production releases are typically denoted "A", "B", "C", and so on. Currently, to stay in sync with other systems in the company I have to manually type the revision into the version comment field, very error prone. it would be great if leto had some way of supporting this - display "Revision" instead of "Version" when showing a document (maybe as option or put in the readme where I can change it) - Allow the user to override the revision number with a new document or an update and allow letters: make leto smart enough to increment letters or numbers automatically and put the incremented revision in the box as default but allow the user to override. |
