Hey everyone,
Could there be a feature that allows users to select multiple files directly from either the content viewer or may be the search results and perform some action on the selected files like 'deletion' , 'move to...' , 'change assignment...' or may be even 'change status'.
Basically a batch processing of documents.
LetoDMS is great!!!
Thanks.

I second that! I am trialling LetoDMS for our small Charity, which is evaluating it for use on its web server, as an offsite document repository for disaster recovery, as well as a collaborative DMS for the Trustees and Staff. The Charity has a tiny budget and couldn't afford a commercial product, but I believe I could persuade them to donate to LetoDMS, if the system can demonstrate it does what we need it to.
The problems we are having are:
uploading the whole of the electronic archives was a mountain of work, a job that FTP would have greatly simplified
all files are now in limbo, waiting for approval that will never come, being mostly archive, but nevertheless essential files
had to turn off notifications, because the mailboxes of all three Reviewers were getting a constant stream of messages
any new files uploaded are now lost in the sea of "Pending, Unapproved" files.
Two features I think would bring LetoDMS into the realm of a fully-fledged DMS system:
one of them requested by Max, here: batch processing of files
The other FTP up/download
Batch processing could be as simple as a tick box for each file (with options for "Select All" / "Deselect All") and a pull-down menu of Actions "on selected files"
Another might be a filtering system, with options for using wildcards.
Thanks for listening!
