Displaying english message instead of "Error getting Text"

Why isn't letodms providing the english message instead of displaying an error on missing translation (Error getting Text) ?

FWIW, this is how gettext does things, and even if not perfect for non english speaking users, gives a useful fallback in most situations.

You are quite right and for that reason this behaviour has been implemented in seeddms.
