backup not happening

Thanx for your reply.

There is no error message. A blank page comes on screen after for 10 seconds. Letodms create new .gz file but, it gives an error message while try to open it in archive manager.

list. gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--crc error
gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--length error
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

hi Kiran

can you check if the same backup file name exists ?

if it does remove it and back it up please and try to start the backup process again
