Access to docs, folder without login

Hello together,

we use letodms since some years and it works fine.
Actually we use version mydms-1.7.2.
Now we use dokuwiki to build a knowledge base. Some items in this knowledge base points to a document in the dms. The url looks like this http://dms/out/out.ViewDocument.php?documentid=294. If I call this link I got the login screen of the dms system. Therefore I configured the permissions of the file to access by guest. With this workaround the user can use the guest account to view the document.

But for some user it is to hard to call the guest account login link.
So is it possible to configure the dms system so that the user can access some folder without login?

How can I do this?

i think its possible but we don't have a feature like that at this moment, and this wouldn't be a feature, you would need to get a programmer to do that for you

I investigate the login function.
The login function generates a cookie.
I think letodms use this cookie to identify the user for the folder and file permissions.
My knowledge about php and javascript isn't so great that I can write this feature.
I don't know how to get a programmer.
At the moment the user must use the existing way.
I will spend some more times for searching a workaround.
If I have a workaround I will inform you.
