how to deactivate the email function

thanks for the great dms. if the email function is not neccessary in general, how to deactivate the email function.

you can deactivate the Email by :

going to Admin Tools , then click on users, > under Edit user select a user you want to deactivate the email

then leave the email space blank

Hello,

is there a centralised config option to deactivate all notifications, or especially the notifications for deleted files?

The problem is, that I deleted some old files and the dms has send notifications.
But the notification list was empty. This is a little bit irritating and I would like to see all notifications that the system will send in the notification list and an option to generally deactivate notifications for some actions e.g. "delete, upload, move" etc.

mh. I tried to leave the e-mail fields empty, but then the system asks for some entry. If I add something into the users email-field like "N/A", I can save the User registration, but mydms still sends mails to that users, which come out on the catch all mailadress.
So how do I configure the system in a way that it does not send mails?

that feature is not available at this time

you can take your email off from LetoDMS but you have to do it the hard way which you have to login to Mysql database then take your email off it manually

The latest patch/release will have:
- general configuration of email automatic notification in settings (true/false)
- possibility for single users to leave empty the email field (the system check the string and does not try to sent email if empty)
