pdf content cannot be searched
#1
Dear all,

I installed Letodms in my RS3614xs, everything went well and i installed ipkg and loaded packages like pdftotext, catdoc etc.
When i run from command line, pdftotest abc.pdf convert to abc.txt file but when i try to search from the GUI, i can only search the content from .txt files but not from the .pdf neither from .docx or .xls .
When i check the full text indexinfo there i see the content from .txt fille but not from doc, pdf or xls files .

Can you pls anyone help me to search the content of pdf, doc, excel etc files??
Thanks in advance

Same problem here on a Synology 212+.
Binary pdftotext works great when calling it from the cmd line:

Disabled safemode exec dir settings in my webinterface:

PDFs are recognized as:
mimetype:application/pdf

Update fulltext index runs without errors.

What could be left to check?
