"My Documents" empty

I have been evaluating LetoDMS and have found that when I go to "My Documents" and look at "Documents awaiting your Review/Approval" there is nothing there even though the group I belong to and my explicit user is selected as the reviewer and approver. FYI, The documents are owned by a different user than the reviewer/approver.

Is there a setting I'm missing that causes this behavior.

BTW: I am using Debian with letoDMS 3.3.7, MySQL 5.5.24

Maybe a simpler question would be easier to answer:

Is there a way to set the document back to unreleased state i.e. "Draft - pending review"?

The only way I can see to accomplish this to to delete the document and then reload it.
